Woman Taking Steps to Curb Negative Self-Talk or Some Stupid Shit Like That

In an inspiring story or whatever coming out of Brooklyn, NY, 26-year-old Heidi Mustaf is finally going to start speaking to herself in a kinder tone and curb her negative self-talk, or some stupid shit like that.

Sources confirm Heidi decided to take this step after noticing that she often speaks to herself in a very negative way, because duh.

“I’m trying to stop putting myself down as much, because it’s really hurting my self-esteem,” she told reporters from her extremely messy and poorly decorated bedroom. “It’s really important that I speak to myself in the way I’d want others to speak to me – at least that’s my latest stupid fucking idea. As if it’ll work!”

Heidi maintains that she fell down the rabbit hole of negative self-talk in her teen years because she was a stupid ugly bitch around that time.

“I was just kind of unpopular and undeserving as a child, you know?” she continued. “So I started speaking to myself really negatively, and it only got worse from there. I would love to reclaim my own mind or some useless woo-woo stuff like that.”

Heidi only started to get concerned about her negative self-talk when her friends began to point it out to her, as she’s totally too oblivious to notice something like that.

“I just noticed every time she has a crush on someone she’ll say, ‘I like her, as if she’ll ever like me back,’ which is just such a strange turn of phrase,” Heidi’s roommate, Jade Kreeger, told reporters. “The negative self-talk seemed so natural to her that she wasn’t even noticing she was doing it. It really concerns me.”

As far as how she intends to correct this, Heidi has a few methods in mind.

“Any time I say something negative about myself, I’ve asked my friends to squirt me with a little squirt bottle,” she continued. “This will make me feel like a failure and a child, which should really help!”

She’s also decided to practice daily affirmations, such as “I am hard-working” and “I am capable,” and is doing her best not to roll her eyes after saying this.

As of press time, Heidi says she’s going to work on her self-confidence by putting herself out there more as soon as someone else says it’s okay and asks her to.
